An old shed can look quite sad, and an old fence can annoy the neighbours as they do work on their own garden- why not breathe new life into your own garden space for a very small sum? This specifically developed shed and fence stain is your solution to any garden gripes. The stain is of extremely high quality, not to mention its totally eco-friendly, so you won’t have to spend ages going over it time and time again, or wearing a gas-mask to get it on!

Finish

Two-coat application. Covers the existing surface entirely, leaving a deep colour on your decking (depending on the shade of course!)

Lifespan

Can last many years with good maintenance. Maintain every 1 to 2 years or as required.

Coverage

1 litre will cover up to 12m2 per coat depending on the moisture content and porosity of the surface. For sheds it is recommended that two coats be applied for the first treatment with only one coat needed for future maintenance. For fencing one coat will colour and weather-proof with a second coat deepening the shade.

VOC and odour

As an eco-friendly product, low VOC and Odour are second nature. Totally safe for plants and animals!

Drying time

Touch dry within 2 hours depending on drying conditions and humidity.

Once you have your complete order in your basket, click on checkout to pass through to our secure payment facility. We accept Apple Pay, PayPal and all major credit and debit cards. If you wish to spread the cost, then we also supply an option to apply for PayPal Pay Later.

Get delivered free when you purchase any timber

You can either decide to come and collect your order or take advantage of our fantastic fast and free local delivery service. We offer morning or afternoon delivery time slots for your convenience for all customers within a 30-mile radius of our Coventry base and, unlike most companies, even call you directly to arrange.

How-To

Surface Preparation

Surfaces should be cleaned with warm water, detergent and a stiff brush. Make sure that all mould or algae is removed and rinse well. Ensure that timber is fully dry. For best results previous treatments should be removed or well weathered.

Application

Mix well before use. Protek Shed & Fence is a relatively thin wood stain that can be applied by a pump-up garden sprayer, brush or roller. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next. Maintain every 1 to 2 years or as required.

Splashes and drips can only be cleaned with warm water and detergent whilst still wet.

DO NOT apply in temperatures below 5oC or if wet weather is expected within 48 hours.

DO NOT apply to wet, damp or frozen timber.
